The Joseph thoughts were my favorite. I've been thinking about something similar lately. I get frustrated with the way my friends at home talk to each other and about others.
A lot of times when people say negative things about each other or about the church (especially if those people talking are people we love) its hard for us to stand up against them. But I think God has called us to stand for His name. Stand up for the Christ child and protect this season in a sense with these disciplines. I feel like I've failed sometimes at mirroring the loving and protective spirit of Joseph in this season.
